Regular people are ranging anywhere from really good to really bad (with most falling somewhere in between), if anything I think celebs would be even more likely to be worse, because they live a privileged life, can afford shortcuts and are surrounded by a part of society that actively encourages and protects bad behavior. Why are we even expecting random celebrities (especially reality stars) to be good, honest people? Role models? I would also like them to be honest about cosmetic procedures and editing, but… Their decisions about their bodies and their choices to hide the work they’ve had done obviously affect other women and result in specific beauty standards that lead to insecurity since it’s something that’s impossible to reach without photoshop and extensive cosmetic procedures. The whole beauty standard of having a huge ass and large breasts and a minuscule waist isnt even possible without surgery. But I won’t sit here and pretend that their bodies have nothing to with other women’s insecurity, that’s obtuse. So they are incentivized to hide how much work they’ve had done, and I don’t doubt that they would recieve a lot of stigma if they were forthcoming about this. Women are expected to meet our cultures beauty standard while putting no effort, all the while not even caring about our appearance. I suspect because they know this would reduce their desirability and social capitol. And none of them have ever been completely forthcoming about how altered their appreances are. But a huge part of their fame and notoriety had always been around their physical appearance. But I’m not going to pretend that her choices exist in a vacuum when she’s one of the most influential and famous people in the world right now. Not only has she undergone countless surgeries, fillers, chemical peels, etc, but the pictures have been photoshopped into oblivion. Its a completely fabricated portrayal of her appearance.
